Membership Website Theme The focus of your membership site, without a doubt, should be the central theme you project to your visitors. Put mostly high quality informational content (written articles, video clips, audio files, etc) that tie into your theme. Your members joined the membership site to get good content regarding your site's central theme. Don't disappoint your members or you will lose them. Don't publish non-theme content on your site if you can avoid it. It will not help you keep or gain customers. Stick with your central theme and you will more than likely be rewarded by your members staying with you for a longer period of time. You may venture into non-theme areas if you warn your members before hand that you are presenting the material to see if your members have any interest in the information. It's OK to post closely related information on your membership site as long as it does not subtract from your central theme position. Try experimenting on a small scale before you unleash a surprise that causes your membership to lose members.
